Helping clients build great relationships is Kim's forte. Prior to becoming a consultant, Kim worked in public relations for three Lower Mainland non-profit organizations. She worked with individuals, foundations and corporations on strategic communications, community relations, media strategies, and event planning and fundraising for special projects.
Kim excels in managing community relations for developers. Her experience
in non-profits has given Kim keen insights into how non-profits and
private sector/corporations can work together for mutual benefit.
Kim has worked on a variety of projects including developing a province-wide
public awareness campaign on behalf of the social services sector
and providing public relations services to launch a national project
that developed a 100-year plan for a sustainable region.
Kim has a BA in Communications from Simon Fraser University and has
completed courses in fundraising with the international Association
of Fundraising Professionals. She served on the Board of the CPRS,
Vancouver Chapter and was Chair of the CPRS Speaker Series.
